“Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountain is going home; that wildness is necessity; that mountain parks and reservations are useful not only as fountains of timber and irrigating rivers, but as fountains of life.”

Meet our friends

Well like most fisherman, particularly drifters we are almost always listening to tunes during our floats. Recently we started a new tradition of naming the fish after the song that was playing when the fish was landed.
Here are a few from our last trip.

Nice Cutty

Amy - by Pure Prairie League

Angie - by the Rolling Stones

Cinnamon Girl - by Neil Young

Jeremy - aka King Jeremy the Wicked by Pearl Jam

Crimson and Clover -  covered by Joan Jett not the original Tommy James and the Shondells version.

Cherry Bomb - by John Cougar Mellancamp
