“Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountain is going home; that wildness is necessity; that mountain parks and reservations are useful not only as fountains of timber and irrigating rivers, but as fountains of life.”

Harold Endsley

I remember watching Harold Endsley's show as a kid. I found the show to be captivating with the peaceful music overdubs and first person narrative. Always felt like he was talking directly to me.  He always had something nice to say about everyone he met and the places he went. He enjoyed nature and the outdoors as much as the fishing that came along. Watch the You tube video see if you remember.

  1. Ray - I remember that show well , grew up watching it every weekend (when I wasn't out on a pond somewhere fishing). Met him and Virgil Ward at the SportShow over the years and they were both great guys or at least seemed to be to a young kid who loved fishing. Those clips brought back some good memories.....Jeff
